Do you know what (or who) your child is accessing on-line? Feel that they are more cyber-savvy than you are? Do you worry about whether they will achieve safe and healthy personal relationships or how you can help them to avoid the risk of substance misuse?
You are certainly not alone if you have answered ‘yes’ to any of the above! Life is complex for teenagers (and parents!) today and in common with our colleagues in other Dorset schools, we are dealing with an increase in the consequences resulting from some risky practices in the evenings and at weekends.
So please help us to keep one step ahead!
Why not join us for an informative evening hosted by the agencies which support us locally? Experts in e – safety, sex and relationships, drugs and alcohol, they will share up to date information relevant to today’s young people and be able to answer any questions. It would be lovely to see lots of parents in The Blandford School Hall, on Thursday 16th October at 6.30pm.
