On Thursday students from year 8 took part in a robotics STEM day sponsored by Bounemouth University. In pairs they worked together to program a robot to do tasks and in the afternoon battled there robots in a ‘2 minute challenge’.
Pupils were commended on their contagious enthusiasm and also for their excellent resilience to challenge . Two groups also programmed a light sensor and are the first to be able to do this unassisted in any of the schools visited by the project.
We hope to see Georgie and the team from Bournemouth University again In the future.
